Once again, it’s Carnaval time!

The lights are up, hung high above streets leading to party-central and along the malecon itself in Olas Altas. Perhaps you’ve seen trucks carrying the always-colorful and often outlandish monos – those big papier mache figures - or pieces of parade floats making their way to who-knows-where for who-knows-what finishing touches.
