Although lots of M!’s readers are not Mexican citizens and therefore can’t vote – still, Election Day might affect you: no alcohol can be sold in stores from midnight Sunday until midnight Monday , except in specified “tourist areas” and restaurants. 16-17-18 Gay Pride Celebration This second annual event features a weekend of fun & freedom, beginning with a beach party Friday night. On Saturday, watch or participate in a parade down the malecon, with floats, live music and dancers, from Panama Restaurant in the Golden Zone to the Fisherman’s Monument.
