Wednesdays “Almodóvar Desconocido”

Internationally known Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar’s films are marked by stories that spark the imagination, touch the emotions and always leave audiences pondering the reality of both. Using elements of pop culture and music, irreverent humor and dramatic, passionate story lines and characters, Almodóvar’s movies – in any language – are worth seeing. Showcased in this weekly series every Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m. Seating is limited. Donation is $20, and that includes popcorn and beverages. In Spanish, Sorry, no subtitles. Graduating students of the Mazatlán Professional School of Dance present a program of the stars, with performances choreographed by Peter John Sabbaghá (South Africa), Michael Foley (USA), Claudia Lavista (Mexico) and Victor Manuel Ruiz (Mexico). 8 pm at the Angela Peralta Theater, Centro Historico.
