The astrological news is Sun is in Aquarius, Mercury is direct, and Pluto is in Capricorn. Pluto in Capricorn will transform our entire (global) economic, political and governmental institutions. Its force first destroys (what is no longer useful for the new era must be dismantled) before it creates anew. The way humanity does business, from now until 2024, will undergo a radical transformation and the structures we depend upon for our material well-being will be reoriented and restructured.

Also, from Jan. 20 till Feb. 18, the Sun distributes Aquarius energy to earth, and we are to radiate the lights of Love, Harmony, Intelligence and Goodwill toward all we encounter. This is the service in Aquarius to humanity. This is the future.

A long time ago the Buddha, sitting under the Bodhi Tree, called all the animals to join him in sitting meditation. Only 12 responded. In gratitude and honor, the Buddha then named a year after each of the animals that sat mindfully with Him. The Chinese New Year 4707 of the Earth Ox (or Vietnamese Water Buffalo) began Jan. 26. The ox conveys prosperity through qualities of fortitude and hard work. A stable, fearless, friendly and powerful animal, Ox is a dependable leader that reaches great heights of achievement. Ox is calm, patient and tireless, enduring difficulties without complaint (Oxen have Taurus and Capricorn characteristics). Chinese New Year celebrations last 15 days, ending on the Full Moon lunar eclipse Feb. 9, with the Chinese Lantern Festival. It’s time to plan a Full Moon Lantern Festival party.

Valentine’s Day, the moon is in Scorpio (feelings hidden) and Mercury is in Aquarius (the mind is detached). Let’s override these astrological influences with our intentions to be mindful of Loving Goodwill. And let us all remember the famous poem by e.e. cummings to “be of love more careful than of anything.”

ARIES (Mar. 21-Apr. 20) The energies influencing you shift gradually from recognition of the vital and initiating work you can and will do to the groups you’ll align with or will lead in the formation of the new world, culture and civilization. You must wake to full awareness; the times require those who can lead, think boldly, take risks and see into the future. Is this you?

TAURUS (Apr. 21-May 20) The atmosphere of your life is changing. No longer can you sit back and wait, dreaming big dreams. You must quickly figure out all the components of the new world to feed and care for humanity. Your enlightened mind sees far into the future what these needs will be. You have the mental tools. Now define how they translate into physical tools for survival.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) You’re aware of the many forces at work in your life, and attempting to resolve the higher realm with the lower, the Soul with personality - a vital and difficult task accomplished by the proper cultivation of the mind principle and the right course of study with no illusions or distortions. You may be called to teach the Path you’re walking. Can you define the Soul?

CANCER (June 21-July 20) Always we feel some form of conflict. Know that this conflict and seeming chaos is useful. It gives you (all of us) the ability to observe tensions and to express our battles, the main one being the Soul calling the personality to Right Action and Right Service. The time for tests has arrived. A reorientation is occurring and something no longer useful will be released. We stand with you.

LEO (July 21-Aug. 20) You’ve entered an interlude where you’re not linked to anything or anyone. This is a place of balancing where considerations are made and then choosings. Your inner self is being modified, shifted and changed so it has a fixed purpose to express your unique creativity. Hold opposing forces in check so a greater awareness emerges. Your ideas will then flow once more and be dispersed to humanity - your gift.

VIRGO (Aug. 21-Sept. 20) Very new and revelatory ideas flow into your mind. You’ll feel you’ve entered into a group whose sole purpose is the creation of the new world order. You’ll receive new ideas with both devotion and conflict. Through dualities new consciousness emerges. A wholeness permeates your being, a healing matrix enveloping you.

LIBRA (Sept. 21-Oct. 20) Under the veil of your charm, you’re strong and powerful, but a force that’s a greater level of Love/Wisdom begins expressing itself through you. This is achieved through careful, constant intention and remembrance: “Love/Wisdom expresses itself through me always.” This is an opportunity. Then the true Love and groups you seek appear.

SCORPIO (Oct. 21-Nov. 20) You spend long times alone pondering things great and small. Create an environment that nurtures all forms, all kingdoms – Soul, human, animal, plant and mineral. Love combined with your great intelligence forms a fertile matrix, beginning where you live, spreading out to all you contact. Your task? Anchor a foundation of resources and a network of light. Then distribute them.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21-Dec. 20) The call to you is of harmonizing two centers in Life and within yourself: will and form. Be willing to visualize the Light of God entering and circling you and the Earth. This produces knowledge, self-awareness and new realities. You can then serve as the vehicle for Right Relations, which is the Mother aspect. Your willingness is the Father aspect. You are the Child from this Divine Union.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) Whatever it is you desire, fill it with Love, meditating from your third eye center where intelligence, love and wisdom reside. New life then takes root, expressing itself in form as beauty and harmony, quelling disharmony and conflicts when they arise. Your desires create a magnetic attraction and give your initiating ideas life and substance.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 20) You’re in a phase of life where your new self is attempting to manifest. Personal and professional worlds are a fertile field. Continue to clear all that may obstruct the manifestation of this new life phase. Our journey is first into matter, embracing all things of the Earth; our return journey is back to Spirit. You combine both, creating the Path of Return, with its new revelations, identity and successes. We honor your accomplishments.

PISCES (Feb. 21-Mar. 20) Attempt to soften self-criticisms and attempt to understand your feelings, thoughts, aspirations and actions. Your efforts are your Soul attempting to bring you and those around you more Light. Within this Light that you carry is Love/Wisdom. Its pathway is self-sacrifice, which you know well. Seeds are being sown in your life for tomorrow. The tests you’re undergoing awaken you to the suffering of others. This is the only way you know how to accomplish your task of Saving Humanity.
